European House of Beds A/S was founded in 2008 by Pia and Poul Erik Rasmussen, who wanted to challenge the industry and have since established a leading position in the Danish bed industry. Today, we produce a wide range of private labels and own brands, which are sold through more than 400 retailers in Scandinavia and Northern Europe.
We have our head office and factory in Horsens with approx. 75 full-time employees.
In 2019, the private equity fund, Capidea, enters the company, and a new growth journey is initiated. Nicky Berg is the new CEO of the company as of January 8, 2024. Pia and Poul Erik Rasmussen continue to be co-owners of the company together with Kim Rasmussen in addition to Capidea. Pia is also part of the board of directors.
We have a responsibility for the climate when we design, produce and transport our bedroom concepts.
